At the minimum, a clean one car garage with electrical for a heat gun & a hose to wash the car. In general, a two car garage is ideal because it provides adequate space for vinyl wrapping the large parts of the car like the bumper covers.

Don't wax your paint. Rubbing Alcohol is used just before the application of the vinyl to remove any dirt, debris, wax or oils on the paint that would prevent the vinyl adhesive from properly bonding with the surface.

Yes, but you must sand off any bad paint or flaking clear coat before any vinyl can be applied. Otherwise, it will lift of with the vinyl when attempting to reposition it during installation. After the surface is smooth to the touch it needs to be sprayed with primer. After a final sand to get the surface smooth to the touch & feathered out it's ready to be wrapped.

Certain specialty films (Chrome, Brushed metallic, printed, etc.) are typically thicker & require more skill/effort to install. They have limitations that regular gloss, matte & satin finishes don't & as a result must be applied with special techniques to preserve the finish around compound curves on difficult body lines.

Hand wash only! If you drive through an automated car wash it will damage your wrap. Just wash the car gently with normal car wash soap & a mitt/microfiber towel. Hand dry with a microfiber towel or compressed air.
